This is for an immediate start. You will be working for a top tier Telecommunications company in one of the most technically advanced offices in Melbourne. Technical Experience and Qualifications


  • Proven experience with installation and configuration of MPLS network devices
  • Experienced in managing network, routers, and switches
  • Experienced with installation and configuration of Cisco network devices
  • Experience with patching ports and testing, racking and stacking network equipment and cable management (identifying and labeling)
  • CCNA, CCNP, CCIE will be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or Engineering
  • General Security (firewall) experience
  • Extensive Cisco Routing & Switching Work Experience
  • Network Auditing work experience
  • Superior knowledge of Networking, Servers, Deploying, Installing and configuration
  • A strong technical understanding of Hardware and software and troubleshooting

The scope of work comprises the following:


  • Excellent written and verbal English. Must be able to communicate confidently
  • Experience as an L2 engineer or IT Network Engineer
  • Experience in providing support for complex, highly sensitive environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT and/or related fields (or comparable industry experience)
  • Understanding of ITIL V3 service delivery lifecycle
  • Customer Centric

Experience in a similar role


3-6 Years

Experience supporting an Australian customer base is a plus.
