Desktop Support Engineer

We are looking for the capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite assistance to end users within the organisations desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

IT Skills and Experience

  • Apple (ACMT Certified) plus other Certifications, Desktop Repair Technician, Portable Repair Technician, Technical Coordinator
  • Excellent Apple diagnostics repair and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Apple Deployment Programs
  • Multi-tasking capabilities
  • Provide product troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair on (but not limited to) the following products: Mac OS X, iLife Suite, iWork Suite, Microsoft Office, Windows Solutions on OS X, Macbook, Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, iBook, Powerbook, iMac, Mac Pro, Power Mac, Mac Mini, iPod, iPad, iPhone
  • Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs in a manner that reflects our world-class experience and customer service
  • Re-image laptops and complete data transfers for end users
  • Properly track and record service related work and time
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, troubleshooting, and analysis to quickly and permanently resolve IT support incidents

IT Qualifications

  • Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) Preferred
  • Proficiency with JAMF / Casper software

English Language Ability

(English requirements are the same for all levels of Technician)

Dedicated Engineers:

  • Speaking – Excellent
  • Writing – Excellent
  • Reading – Good
